Big BAGGU vs Packing Cube Set: Which Holds More?

Two different tools for the same packing problem

The Big BAGGU and the Large Packing Cube Set both help you organize and carry more, but they solve different problems. The Big BAGGU is a single oversized tote that carries up to 50 lb (22 kg) and packs into a 6"x6" pouch. The Large Packing Cube Set is a set of large cubes designed to fit inside the Travel Cloud Bag or Cloud Carry On. Neither is a substitute for the other—your choice depends on whether you need a flexible carry-all or a modular packing system.

What the Big BAGGU brings to the comparison

• Cherries Big BAGGU: The big BAGGU is made from 100% recycled ripstop nylon. Ripstop nylon is lightweight and durable, which suits a bag that needs to haul heavy loads without adding bulk.

• Cherries Big BAGGU: It comfortably carries up to 50lb (or 22kg) yet packs down into a 6"x6" pouch. This gives you a clear weight limit and shows how little space the bag takes when empty—useful for travel or emergency overflow.
• Cherries Big BAGGU: The big BAGGU is also perfect for travel, laundry and major shopping trips. Its versatility means it can serve multiple roles beyond travel, from laundry day to grocery runs.

What the Large Packing Cube Set brings

• Gradient Stripes Large Packing Cube Set: Fits perfectly inside the Travel Cloud Bag or Cloud Carry On. This compatibility is key: the cubes are designed to work with specific bags, so check you own or plan to use one of those.

• Gradient Stripes Large Packing Cube Set: Their popular and super useful packing cubes are now in a larger size in their Gradient Stripes design to wrangle the biggest items on your packing list. The larger size means these cubes handle bulky items like sweaters or jackets, not just small accessories.
• Gradient Stripes Large Packing Cube Set: Made from recycled material. If sustainability matters to you, this aligns with the Big BAGGU's recycled nylon construction.

Capacity and dimensions: what the numbers tell you

The Big BAGGU gives a weight capacity (50 lb / 22 kg) but no volume or dimensions. The Large Packing Cube Set gives compatibility (fits Travel Cloud Bag or Cloud Carry On) but no weight capacity or individual cube dimensions. This means you can't directly compare their volume from the supplied information. Instead, think about how you pack: the Big BAGGU is a single open bag, while the cubes are separate containers that keep items compartmentalized.

• Big BAGGU: 50 lb (22 kg) weight limit; packs into 6"x6" pouch; no volume or dimensions supplied.
• Large Packing Cube Set: Fits Travel Cloud Bag or Cloud Carry On; large size for bulky items; no weight limit or dimensions supplied.

Carry method: tote vs. cubes inside a bag

The Big BAGGU is a standalone tote with its own carry method (likely handles, though not specified). The Large Packing Cube Set has no carry method of its own—it's designed to be packed inside another bag. If you need something to carry directly, the Big BAGGU is the clear choice. If you already have a Travel Cloud Bag or Cloud Carry On and want to organize its contents, the cubes are the better fit.

When each option makes sense

• Choose the Big BAGGU if…: You need a flexible, packable bag for travel, laundry, or shopping, and you want a stated weight capacity (50 lb / 22 kg).
• Choose the Large Packing Cube Set if…: You own a Travel Cloud Bag or Cloud Carry On and want to organize bulky items inside it with large cubes.

What the evidence doesn't tell you

Neither product record includes detailed dimensions, volume, or compartment layouts. The Big BAGGU's carry method (handles, straps) is not specified, and the packing cubes' individual sizes are not given. These gaps mean you should check the product pages for exact measurements if fit is critical. Also, the Big BAGGU's 50 lb capacity is a weight limit, not a volume guarantee—overloading beyond comfortable carry is still possible.
